The only thing we missed was a copy of an English language newspaper, but we understood that this is because there are so few English tourists in Karlskrona

The location is very good. The hotel is a typical bed-and breakfast kind of hostel. How it obtained three stars is a mystery. However, the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly enough. The reception was open during limited periods in the morning and afternoon only. If you arrive outside this hours, you may face some challenges.

The breakfast was varied and delicious, with pre-packed breads and buns for safety measures. The location of the hotel was excellent, just a couple of hundred meters away from the main square and the seafront. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the nearby tourist attractions, without having to use public transportation. we appreciated the fact that the hotel allowed dogs in their outside restaurant area for breakfast.

One major downside was the lack of parking spaces, which meant that we had to carry our luggage a bit further from our car parked on the street. Another issue was the noise coming from the ventilation of the kitchen, close to our window on the first floor.

The nights were quite noisy, with the sound of music from the hotel. We had to request a quieter environment. Our room lacked proper ventilation which made it uncomfortable during the day.

The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the exceptional service provided by the staff. Secondly, the location was perfect for exploring the area. We were able to walk to many tourist attractions, including the fantastic museum mentioned in one of the reviews. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the small kitchenette, which was perfect for our family. Plus, the complimentary breakfast each morning was a great added bonus.
